NIT Jalandhar Campus Facilities
NIT Jalandhar address is Grand Trunk Road, Bye pass in Jalandhar, Punjab. NIT Jalandhar campus has many topographical features, several buildings of different nature along with clean and wide roads surrounded by greenery.
NIT Jalandhar campus area is divided into different functional zones, namely Institution zone for teaching – departments or centres or administration, Residential zone for the faculty and staff and Students’ hostel zone.
All the necessary amenities offered by the Institute on the campus include: Computer Centre, Central Library, Central Workshop, Central Seminar Hall, Dispensary, Post Office, Banks (State Bank of India, Canara Bank), Shopping Complex, Guest House, Gymnasium Hall, Open Air Theatre, Sports Complex, Students’ Activity Centre, Canteen, Bus Transport, Mega Boys Hostel (3 Blocks completed) and Modern Lecture Theaters.
National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar has students that are drawn from all parts of the country. Thus, it offers residential facilities to its students.
NIT Jalandhar hostel has separate accommodation for boys and girls. There are seven boys’ hostels, two girls’ hostels and a mega girls’ hostel. A mega hostel with three blocks is currently under construction.
The hostels have facilities of a reading room, indoor games, etc. The hostel buildings are entirely WiFi enabled. In addition to that, it offers basic amenities like geysers, water purifiers, and Washing Machines are also provided.

NIT Jalandhar organises several fests all over the year. Some of the fests are namely TechNITi that is a techno-management fest held during the odd semester in mid-September. And Utkansh, which is cultural fest conducted during the even semester. The sole aim of the fest is to draw out the creative side of the techies on campus.
