Students seeking admission to the Undergraduate level courses at Jain University are shortlisted based on the marks scored in the JET or Jain Entrance Test. Thus, Jain University results and cut-offs are declared after Jain Entrance Test scores are released. Along with these, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for their preferred courses.
To secure admission to the Postgraduate courses, candidates are required to sit for the JET examination. Hence, Jain University cut off for Postgraduate courses is declared after Jain Entrance Test scores are released for the year. However, for MBA courses, candidates can also apply with CAT or KMAT or CMAT or GMAT or XAT scores and for M.Tech courses, candidates can also apply with a valid GATE or Karnataka PGCET score.
Admission to the Doctoral level courses is conducted through university-based entrance examination followed by an interview round. So the admission process starts after the results of the Jain University Entrance Test is released. The candidates who score above the cut off for Jain University, they move forward to the interview round.
JET is conducted by the Jain University every year. The question paper is divided into two sections, in which, section A is based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Biology subjects and section B is based on English. The examination is conducted for two hours thirty minutes.
