Admission to Kalasalingam University
Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Undergraduate degrees include B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BBA, B.Voc, and BCA. KARE offers M.Tech, MBA, MA, M.Sc, MSW, M.Arch, and MCA as postgraduate programs. The University’s Research department also offers Ph.D. and M.Phil programs in a variety of fields.
Admission to the B.Tech and B.Arch programs is based on KUEE and NATA scores. GATE/ KUEE scores are accepted for M.Tech. The remaining programs take qualifying examination scores into account. Selection is done on the basis of merit. KUEE, or Kalasalingam University Entrance Test, is an entrance exam administered by the university for admission to the aforementioned programs. Despite this, nationalized test scores for the programs are also taken into account.

UG Admission to Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in 2022
The university provides undergraduate courses in the following disciplines: technical, architecture, science, commerce, arts, business administration, and computer applications. Additionally, students can pursue a Bachelor of Vocational degree with three specializations: Electronics and Communication Equipment Maintenance, Medical Lab Technology, and Software Development.
Except for B.Tech, which lasts four years, and B.Arch, which lasts five years, all courses last three years. For qualified candidates, lateral entry admission to B.Tech is also available.
- Admission to the B.Tech. program will be based on the results of the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Entrance Examination (KUEE), which is typically held by the University in the months of May / June of that year.
- For lateral entry into B. Tech, eligible candidates must pass an entrance examination administered by the University, and selection is based on merit.
- Candidates for B.Arch admission must receive merit marks in the CoA’s National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Admission is based on NATA exam scores as well as higher secondary school grades.
- Admission to the remaining courses is based on merit marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

PG Admission to Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in 2022
Technical, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, Business Administration, and Computer Applications are among the PG courses offered by the university. Students can also enroll in a Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
Except for M.C.A, which lasts three years, all courses last two years. The university also provides lateral entry into two-year M.C.A. programs.
Students seeking admission to M.Tech programs must pass the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Entrance Examination (KUEE) or GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Admission to the Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education for a Ph.D. in 2022
The university offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in 19 different specializations to qualified candidates. The duration of a Ph.D. is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years for a full-time course, and a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years for a part-time course. Students can also pursue a one-year M.Phil program with five different specializations: mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, and biotechnology. Admission to all Engineering programs is granted to those who hold a Master’s degree with distinction in Engineering/Technology/Business Administration. They must have at least 60% (CGPA 6.5) or an equivalent degree (such as M.Sc (Engineering) / M.S. by Research).
Candidates for Ph.D/M.Phil admission to Humanities, Sciences, and Languages must have a Master’s degree with at least 60% in Sciences and 55% in Humanities/Social Sciences/Languages.
The Department Research Committee will select candidates for each specialization through an entrance test and personal interview. Every year, from January to July, this will take place. The successful candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exam/interview.

- Registration information will be sent to your registered mobile phone number and e-mail address.
Step 2: Complete the online application form
Log in using the registration information you received via email or text message. Before submitting, be sure to include all pertinent information.
Step 3: Upload your photo and signature
- Photograph Image: The file size should be between 10KB and 200KB, with dimensions of 3.5CM X 4.5CM.

Step 4: Payment Method
- Online mode via Netbanking / Credit / Debit card – for all candidates.
- DD Mode – Prepare a DD in the name of ‘Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education,’ payable in Rajapalayam.
- There is no need to send the application form after the process is completed if you are using the online mode (Net banking / Debit card / Credit card).
- DD Mode – A hard copy of the application form and a Demand Draft (with your name and application number written on the reverse side of the DD) must be sent to “The Dean Admissions, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Anand Nagar, Krishnankoil -626126, Srivilliputtur(Via), Virudhunagar District, Tamilnadu, India.”
