Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of below mentioned criteria:
- Academic Performance
- Nationalized Test Scores and Alliance Management Aptitude Test
- Oral Extempore Presentation: Candidates are required to appear before a panel, for a maximum duration of 3 minutes. The topic for extempore will be given on the spot. The presentation will be evaluated on the basis of content, relevance and clarity in communication.
- Personal Interview: This is the last step of the selection process. The overall personality of the candidate will be evaluated.

The duration of this exam is one hour and the total marks is 65.There are five sections in AMAT, these sections along with their weightage have been mentioned in the table given below.
